Hello, Thoma. I was wondering if you were busy today?

[ Ayaka doesn't have big dreams. She just wants the people she cares about to be happy, and to have a house with a garden. It helps to have a nice scenery when you're out having tea, to have a place where you can train, and generally? Houses with gardens are bigger ones. That means she and Ayato will have more space to work! And bigger houses mean more rooms, so Cloud can finally come live with her when the time finally comes. :D

In order to make such dreams come true, however, Ayaka has to find work. She's already helping out at the botanical gardens, but perhaps her wants are spurring her to work a little more than someone normally would. For this particular job, they're supposed to visit a shop in Blossomcrown and assemble some furniture. Ayaka was told that she would receive discounts for helping out, which would mean finding furniture for her future house won't be too difficult if this becomes successful! And so, for the additional factor to make this successful? She has sought the aid of Thoma.

Surely assembling a desk won't be too difficult! She and Thoma are left by the staff in one of the rooms so that they can work together and build a desk. ]

The manual says... there are thirteen parts to this desk.

[More than what his family had back home anyway, not that decorating for Christmas was big for them. Its part of why he's so giddy to decorate here. He sets the lights down and starts looking around.]

Where did I put the ties? I'll need them to attach the lights to the roof. How far do we want to take this? We could light up the ground where we don't have other decorations too? It shouldn't be too hard to rig everything to dance with music either.

{ the festivities around ellipsa have been quite a nice mood when everything that had happened recently was anything to go by. ayato is glad he hasn't really had to do anything to put himself in a firing line this time even while he tries to keep his ear to the ground in regards to what is happening with sawyer.

but today, apparently, is the special day everyone was excited for. he knows thoma has been very excited for the occasion all around, has seen the over the top decorations at his house in comparison to the elegant tree ayaka chose.

and his conversation with diluc has been swimming around in his head for months. the ring has been tucked away carefully for a long time too. knowing thoma wouldn't like touch The Box it'd been hidden amongst items in there until last night.

now it's hidden in a pouch of mochi's harness ready for her morning walk. }

I thought today it would be quiet nice to go to the beach. Not to worry, I'll handle cleaning Mochi afterwards.

[Rui's been surprisingly quiet during dinner tonight. His brain is whirring. He knows the "date" with Tsukasa is supposed to help them figure out how to act out a romance on stage, but he feels he should be doing more to prepare.]

[ He hasn't even taken one step back towards the direction of Shinrin-Yoku Teahouse. The closest he's gotten to even letting it cross his mind was a fleeting glance at his phone. An impulse, even now as he approaches his third destination on this journey down memory lane. All he can do is look at a certain proprietress' contact, and a string of text messages back and forth that stopped just before the end of yesterday... It's been an interesting couple of steps he's had to take, both destinations before this sparking old feelings that he harbors close and dear. He knew he was in for something surreal today when the realization hit him late as to why she had him deliver takoyaki and boba to the Weapons Training HQ.

He really was going to find her at the end of this proverbial road after all. Now emboldened with finishing two of her tasks, and armed with two letters, he recognizes where he's going. Though now he has to wonder...

Which oh which door on this scavenger hunt was he going to be opening this time? Which memory would he be knocking on if he was paying Thoma a visit? His mind can only wonder and wander so much, until he finally puts his phone away and takes another calming breath. He could handle himself at the Theatre well enough, and testing himself against a Level 8 Hologram of a Giant Slime Toad was somehow even easier. So this? Whatever awaits him as he knocks on the front door?

He feels lighter. Whether his assignment was easy or not, it's the company that makes him feel as such.

Armed with a soft pastel box wrapped with a deeper pink ribbon, there was some thought that went into this gift for Inazuma's resident "fixer"! It was readily available, and considering that this wasn't just Valentine's Day for one couple...well. Whether he shares this with Ayato or not? He's following Ayaka's letter to a T. ]
